Brooklyn shop cat taking in the morning air.
Saw him sitting at the curb next to the police cruiser and knew it was a must have.
Clicked my tongue at him to get him to turn his head, but instead of looking at me,
he stood up and started to walk towards me.
The resultant shot just didn't have the same feel as this one.
May put the other shot in scraps after a while.

Couldn't avoid that bit of rainbow lens flare.
Any suggestions on removing it effectively are appreciated.

What most people think of as a beautiful, cloudless day is closer to a nightmare for me. I loathe those sunny, cloudless skies - unless I'm doing silhouettes. Stupid lens flare. Overcast days make me a happy girl! If it's a terribly sunny day and you wanna capture some shots, wait for the 'sweet light' ... when the sun starts to go down. I know. I know. Sometimes you just CAN'T wait. Sometimes you shoot against all odds and end up with a few WOWs.

Haha, cool shot you made. So cats are wandering around the streets? That's actually a surreal scene for me :) And so... hmm... homely.

There is actually a place about 10 blocks from where I shot this, where, one night, while walking home from a local bar, (this was years ago) I spied about a dozen cats ahead of me, all in a sitting on their butts in an upright position on the sidewalk and not doing much of anything. As I got closer, I noticed that they were all sitting at the entrance way to an alley.
As I passed, none of the cats moved - they just stared at me, and looking down the alley I saw at least another thirty cats or so, all just lounging around a watching me pass. It was really creepy. None of them moved, none of them made a sound, they all just watched me go by. It was around 3:30 in the morning and utterly surreal.
